Advantages of our wood briquettes
- burn cleanly, environmentally friendly and almost without residue
- ignite very well and fast
- deliver long lasting and constant pleasant warmth
- provide for a long life span and a good efficiency of the firing
- have a high heat value of approx. 4.8 kWh/kg and are very productive therby
- Cause no sooting of the glass partition
Comparison
The low dampness of the wood briquettes of approx. 10% results in a high energy content with 4,8 KW/H per kg.
With forest-fresh fire-place wood andh a water content of 50% only approx. 2.5 kWh/kg is achieved.
Wood deposited for two years (20% dampness) has an energy content of 4 kWh/kg; as it has substantially lost in weight during the drying process it is usually sold according to volume instead of weight.
On basis of the energy contents the following ratio results:
1 ton of wood briquettes corresponds to the energy content of approx. 4 srm dry fire-place wood (dampness 20%).
